At FA Selangor, the safety of the players, officials, and staff that comes for training and working in the facility is our topmost priority.

Various precautions have been introduced and implemented to ensure the gymnasium, changing room, players lounge, office and other facilities at FAS is always in a good and clean condition.

The management also has issued the memo to inform all players, officials, and staff regarding the status of office operational hours, the restriction movement order to overseas, as well as the interstate travel bans in order to contain the pandemic from spreading.

According to FAS Secretary-general, Dr.Johan Kamal Hamidon, FAS always committed to avoid the spreading of the virus, not only between its players and staff but also among Selangorians and Malaysians in general.

“The spreading of the Covid-19 virus is a matter we really look serious into by the FAS management. We realized that it is not a thing that we can look lightly and we will continue to work hard to ensure the safety of our players and staff,” said Johan.

“Even though our centralized training facility is being shut down this time, the coaching department has issued a fitness and diet plan for our players to follow on daily basis in order to get them in shape and maintain their fitness. We also reminded our staff and players to follow the safety guidelines, endorsed by the government of Malaysia and precautionary measures highlighted by the Malaysian Health Ministry,” he added.

Other than that, the FA Selangor social media account will also share the updates of the pandemic in Malaysia, especially for Selangor state from time to time.

FAS hoped that all the Red Giants fans to play their part to maintain self cleanliness and take precautionary measures from spreading the virus.
